Shared Decision Making

The purpose of school-based planning and shared decision making shall be to improve the educational performance of all students in the school, regardless of such factors as socioeconomic status, race, sex, language background, or disability.

Each school building in the Medina Central School District seeks meaningful involvment from all stakeholders to review and support building plans and decisions.  Shared Decision Making Committees meet regularly throughout the school year. 

The District Shared Decision Making Committee receives information and feedback from the building teams and works with the Strategic Plannig Committee to ensure support for current district and building initiatives.
