About Me: Welcome! My name is Mrs. Cleaveland, and I am currently in my forth year at Medina High School. I am thrilled to be a part of the Medina science department here, and am appreciative of the opportunity to be here.

After graduating high school from Barker Central, I attended St. John Fisher College. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology, and then continued my education at Niagara University for my Master’s degree in secondary education.

Science is always changing and impacting the world around us. I really enjoy teaching chemistry and biology, mainly because I can share my love science with students every day. Talking with them about how the world around them changes and works is very exciting and rewarding.

Outside of chemistry and biology, I am also the varsity field hockey and softball coach. If I’m not on the field for one of these sports, I enjoy doing the announcing at the swim meets during the winter months. All of these athletic events keep me busy, but I do look forward to just hitting the gym when time permits. And of course spending time with family and friends.
