About Me:

 I have been teaching 5th grade in the Medina Central School District for the past nine years. Prior to coming to Medina, I spent four years teaching Middle School Math and two years as a Math Coach in the city of Buffalo, as well as one year as a Math AIS teacher in the Elba Central School District. I have earned my Bachelor's degree at Elmira College and am certified in Childhood Education and Mathematics. I have also earned my Master's degree as a Literacy Specialist from the University at Buffalo. In addition to teaching, I have been a cheerleading coach for 12 years. I served as the Varsity Cheerleading Coach here in Medina for 4 years until I made the difficult decision to take some time away from coaching to care for my kids.  

I grew up in Lockport and continue to live there with my husband, 4 year-old daughter, Aubrey, and 2 year-old son, Ethan, as well as our Siberian Husky, Kodiak. I am looking forward to another great year in 5th grade!
