Wise Middle School Girls' Physical Education Mrs. Laura Valley I am a 1995 graduate of Orchard Park High School and earned my Bachelor's Degree in physical education at SUNY Cortland in 1999. Immediately upon graduation, I was hired by the Brockport Central School District where I taught middle school physical education for over ten years. During my time there, I earned my Master's Degree at SUNY Brockport. At the start of November 2009, I was fortunate enough to receive a teaching position here in Medina where I reside with my husband and two stepchildren. My Mission Physical Education is based upon the acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary for engaging in physical activity; however, having knowledge and skills is not enough. It is my goal to provide an environment in which all students can participate, learn about and enjoy physical activity regardless of their abilities. Furthermore, students should feel encouraged to be physically active outside of school and to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity in order to lead healthier, more productive and more fulfilling lives.
